The National Employment Service, in partnership with the City of Novi Sad administration, is launching the Employment Action Plan for 2023. The action plan includes the allocation of more than 203 million dinars.
Support for 650 people
The employment action plan covers over 650 people. The success rate in recent years has been as high as 80 % for people who do not return to the National Employment Service records. A capital change in the program this year is to provide an opportunity for 15 people with secondary education to gain their first work experience.
Other programs
The mentioned program is one of many planned programs. The following programs start simultaneously – trainee program, professional internship program, organizing public works of interest to the City, support for self-employment, and many more, all for employment policy purposes.
The core of politics
In the last eleven years, counting from 2012 and ending with this year’s plan, the City of Novi Sad was responsible for collecting more than one billion and 637 million dinars to reduce the unemployment rate as part of the employment program.
